Is there anything more boring than watching a classroom full of kids taking a test?
Anyone?
Hum. That's what I thought.

Musings and rants of a middle school teacher out to save the world, one student at a time...

yeah, let's just say that I'm not real sad that I missed our Big State Tests here, being on Maternity Leave. I feel for ya...
Ah, I think I just caught a glimpse of my life next week!
The most boring is proctoring a group of kids on a state test, none of whom you know, in a subject about which you no little or nothing.
But I gotta say, I've been to a lot of interminable meetings as well.
Rather take the test myself than watch them do it!
I just survived another year of testing, hallelujah!
Yes, very boring, but I will go with nyc educator in that I've been to many painfully boring inservices- I'd rather proctor a test. (Proctor probably gets a giggle out of the middle school set, does it not?)
Those business meetings were not a joy either most of the time. Talk about keeping minutes and losing hours!
Mrs. T, amazingly enough not a giggle among them. I'm not sure they even have a clue why that may be funny!
Nope. Nothing.
