In our district, unles...We have kids like that too. In our district, unless a parent has left medicine with the nurse and filled out a ton of paperwork, they can't give a child medicine. To keep nurse groupies in class I get a baggie full of band-aids from the nurse. She is more than happy to give me these to keep students out of her office. If a child comes to me and wants to go to the nurse, I ask what type of medicine do they keep for that child in the office. Usually its none. Then I ask if there is anyone home to come get them. The answer is usually no.
